Tragically, Britt passed away unexpectedly leaving behind her husband, Chris and their two children Corin and Liam. Britt was not just a fighter; she was a warrior at every sense of the word. Throughout her life, she endured numerous hospital visits, surgeries, procedures, and treatments—but through it all, her strength, courage, and love for her family never wavered.

Britt had the biggest heart. She was the epitome of selflessness and kindness, and her love for her family was unmatched. Chris and Britt worked together as a team to raise the two most respectful kind, in brilliant young individuals and Corin and Liam. Their children are a testament to Britt’s unwavering love, guidance, and dedication as a mother.

Unfortunately, despite their immense resilience, this loss has left the Cooney family facing, not only emotional pain, but also financial hardship. Chris is a deeply humble man—so much so that he would never ask for any help, even in times like this. He’s the type of person who would give the shirt off his back to help others, but would never expect anything in return. That’s why I’m reaching out on his behalf. While he may not ask, he certainly deserves the support of his community during this incredibly difficult time.
