Support for Chris Manask's Family in Grief
Donation protected
It is with a heavy heart that we share the unimaginable loss of Chris Manask. On Saturday night, Chris suffered a hemorrhagic stroke and was taken to St. Johns hospital. Unfortunately, the bleed was inoperable and the damage was too much. Chris will soon be transferred to another hospital to begin the organ donation process. It is truly fitting, that even in a time like this, Chris is continuing to give.
Chris recently celebrated 19 years of sobriety and he spent his time helping others to achieve the same success. It is evident from the outpouring of love and support that he touched the lives of many in meaningful ways. Whether it was through his love of sports, the way he would make people laugh, or just his genuine presence, he was full of warmth and generosity. He was all about his family and friends!
He leaves behind his wife, Amber, his daughter, Haley and his granddaughter, Abigail (with another on the way!) and many more family and friends. Chris had a pure soul and was a wonderful, husband, dad, brother, grandfather, son and friend. As we all come to terms with this devastating loss, it's heartening to see everyone come together to support his family during this challenging time. Funeral expenses and medical bills can be a heavy burden to bear, especially when unexpected, and every contribution to this fund will help alleviate some of that financial strain as well as help Amber and Haley while they figure out their new normal.
