Support for Chris Phillips and Family

Our loving mother, devoted wife and one of the world's best grandmothers, Chris Phillips, has recently been diagnosed with Stage IV Glioblastoma (GBM). As a family, we are still in disbelief that our Mom is facing the reality of this diagnosis and have been blown away by the outpouring of love and support.

For those that may not know, GBM is a form of brain cancer that has a pretty grim diagnosis - even with surgery and treatment the average life span is three to five years at best. It is not a cancer that is typically synonymous with remission and even with treatment can grow back very aggressively. However, Chris has chosen to give it her best fight, undergoing an awake craniotomy followed by multiple rounds of chemo and radiation. Our Dad (Jack), is now faced with the reality of juggling home care and treatment schedules coupled with work and the stressors of everyday life. Treatment costs are mounting as we speak and this journey is just beginning.

We have had people reach out and ask how they could help, so we collectively decided that setting up a GoFundMe would be the best solution. This will not only help with medical expenses, but give our Dad some financial relief to properly care for Mom in her time of need. It's going to be a long road ahead, but Mom is determined to make the best of it.
