Support for Chuck & Peg

Donation protected
As many that follow me on Facebook know, my big brother, Chuck Andrasko, has been dealing with ongoing heart issues. So many prayers poured in for his recent procedure at the Cleveland Clinic and the struggle to fix his broken heart. We are most grateful. As all attempts to improve the quality of Chuck’s life haven’t worked thus far, he is now scheduled to have open heart surgery at the Cleveland Clinic on February 18.

Chuck had his first open heart surgery in 2013 and has had several heart catheterizations since that first surgery, with a total of 7 stents placed in different arteries - all of which have failed and collapsed. The surgeons at the Clinic have advised that since Chuck’s heart is in such decline and he is now 9 years older since his first bypass, he should expect a much harder and longer recovery. His surgeons told him to anticipate an approximately 14 day stay. The Clinic is 4 1/2 hours from their home in State College PA, so his wife Peggy and I will be staying nearby. We have found accommodations (w/a kitchen) that are much more affordable than the hotels on the Clinic Campus. The accommodations we have chosen are recommended by the Clinic for extended stay patients. The financial burden is still going to be a large one - and due to medical issues and bills for both Chuck and Peg over the years, this 2 week stay is going to create a hardship at $100 a night - not including gas, food, and parking for 14 days.

My big brother has been such a beacon of light for me throughout my life. I know Jesus♥️ because of him and Peg. He has always been my rock and now he needs my help. Having had so many health issues for so many years, including surviving thyroid cancer, Chuck needs your prayers. It has been a rough road and this surgery is extremely risky for him given his condition. We don’t know why God has placed so many obstacles in Chuck’s way, but we trust God’s plan and have accepted His Will be done. We are grateful for any assistance to help with the financial strain. Most of all thank you for your continued prayers for comfort for Chuck, Peg and myself and for renewed health for Chuck in 2022. 2021 was such a difficult year for my entire family but we will never lose hope. Thank you so very much and please always remember - God is great!❤️. Please feel free to share!
