Support Chuey in His Time of Need - Loss of Wife to Cancer
Donation protected
My name is Brian, and I'm hoping to raise money for a coworker of mine who just suddenly lost his wife Osiris to cancer. It was detected very late, and he and his family lost her very quickly. Breast cancer was detected just a few weeks ago and grew rapidly.
Note: I just increased the goal amount because I just learned how much this is costing him. Let's help limit this impact on his family.
This fantastic man's name is Jesus Gonzales, but at work we call him "Chuey".
Chuey is a plumber that has worked with our company for about 20 years, and I've had the honor of working with him for the past 10 years. He has amazing energy, great skill, and always has a smile on his face. I apologize for the only photo I have of him, but he's smiling under that mask, I promise!
That photo was taken in my overgrown front yard. Whenever I have needed help, Chuey has never hesitated to step up and help me out of the kindness of his heart. Of course I always pay for help, but every time Chuey has come over and spent entire days with me, at the end of the day he would always try to turn down the money and say "Brian, we're friends. Friend's help friends."
I never met his wife, but I am completely heartbroken for my friend. He didn't and would never ask for fundraiser, but I know he needs help right now. Please help how you can. Chuey is not a high-dollar plumber like you think of - we don't make as much in new-construction as service salesmen do. I know my friend needs help, I will help as much as I can, and I hope that you see in your heart to him this amazing man as well.
I will add more info as I can. I'll even try to get a better photo. In the meantime, I wanted to get this up ASAP. I put a goal of July 19 because he will need help as fast as possible.
Thank you.
