SUPPORT FOR CINDI TROYER
Donation protected
On 9/20/20 Cindi and Craig Troyer were involved in a serious multi-car accident. They were hit from behind by a 20,000+ lb. flatbed truck and then struck a pickup truck in front of them. Cindi was then impacted a 3rd time by her air bag. Their 2014 Honda Odyssey was crushed from both the front and back.
Fortunately Craig was not badly injured other than severe whip lash. Cindi however received extensive injures including: her jaw broken in 2 places, a fracture in her neck and back, laceration to her face, multiple dislodged and missing teeth, 1 tooth that was pushed into her sinus cavity and a severe concussion.
After a 4 hour surgery to repair her broken jaw and put in a titanium plate, Cindi had her mouth wired shut for 3 weeks. She will need additional oral work to correct all of the remaining issues with her teeth.
Of course the driver of the large flatbed truck that hit Cindi and Craig was found to be at fault but unfortunately things with their insurance company are very slow going. With Cindi and Craig’s vehicle being totaled and medical bills piling up, Cindi and Craig are in need of financial assistance.
Cindi Troyer has been a music teacher at Elida local schools for 31 years and Craig has been farming since he was 16. For those of you who don’t know them, they are some of the kindest most generous folks you could meet and would give you the shirt off their backs. Please consider donating to help Cindi and Craig in this difficult time.
Thank you.
