Support for Coach Shawn River’s Children

Shawn Rivers was a father, friend, and, among other things, a youth wrestling coach for years in Penfield. His passion for the sport and strong desire to see his young wrestlers succeed in the sport and in life was incredible. He positively impacted the lives of scores of young wrestlers in Penfield and beyond. We lost Coach Rivers too soon, passing away on Thursday, June 13th.

This fund is being set up for his two children, Kelsi (13) and Kaden (12). Shawn was always their biggest supporter and his presence in their lives will never be replaced. Talking to others that knew and loved Shawn, one of the common themes was that he would always be there if they needed him. Sadly, he is gone now, and his children need our help; Let’s be there for them. Please help us make sure they have the ability to move forward. Thank you!

Important note: All money collected will be sent to Kaden’s and Kelsi’s grandmother, Lynn Rivers (Shawn’s mother) to be used for their needs.
