Support for colby & quinn - life after palisades fire

We hate to ask for help knowing that so many others are struggling. We are organizing this to help fund our ongoing stay at the rental we are in as we search for a more permanent solution.

We were lucky enough to spend the last 5 years living in our dream neighborhood of the Pacific Palisades. We left the Palisades Tuesday morning with our three cats and safely evacuated to an Airbnb in Silverlake. Seeing how quickly the fire was approaching our home, we spent about 10 minutes throwing our cats in their carriers and tossing a few pieces of clothing into a suitcase. We, along with our entire community, lost everything.

We lost documents, passports, cameras, computers, clothing, furniture - and the life we spent the last 5 years building.

We understand that we are in a more fortunate situation than others - But we expect Quinn’s work to be adversely impacted. These funds will help us get back on our feet and help with expenses that might not be fully covered by other sources of aid.

We truly appreciate the support that everyone has provided so far. We are feeling thankful and lucky. We are thinking of everyone else effected during these tragic times and are happy to be safe <3
