Support for Cream'd

Many of you know by now that Cream'd has permanently closed due to a family emergency. That emergency is that the owner Andrew passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 8th. Our son was one of their 2 employees and the one many people interacted with when they came into the store. He is also the one that made most of the ice cream. Our family and a few close friends (and loyal customers) of the owners, Andrew and Samantha, have spent many evenings this past week selling the rest of their amazing ice cream and helping to clear out the store. During the time the store was closed for the winter season, Samantha took a different job and so that is why you haven't seen her as much. We were able to close the store for her on the night of Monday, April 10th. When we returned last night, Thursday, April 13th, to start the deep cleaning process to get the store ready for Samantha to sell, we unfortunately found that the store had been burglarized in the interim. So, in addition to having to deal with Andrew's sudden death, funeral costs, and closing down their business, Samantha is now having to address the burglary and vandalism of the store. The perpetrators took the cash register, which still had the money in it from the weekend sales, Andrew's computer and phone, a TV, and a few other electronics and tools. We are arranging this GoFundMe to help her recover some of her losses and help pay for store closing and funeral costs.
