Support for Cynthia's Funeral Expenses

Cynthia Felix, our mom, is a wonderful lady devoted to God her whole life. She fought tirelessly to raise her five children, instilling values of strength and resilience in us. Despite the challenges, she raised us to become the great individuals we are today. Now, as God calls her home, we reflect on her unwavering love and determination that has shaped our lives.

We love her and want to fulfill her final wishes. A couple of years ago, our mom reverted to Islam. With her devotion to her faith, she wished for her burial to be by Islamic traditions. Unfortunately, our mom did not have life insurance or any assets to help pay for her funeral and service. Adding to this difficulty, she unexpectedly fell ill on June 12th just after moving to Michigan on June 1st. She spent about three weeks in the hospital fighting for her life, but despite her hard fight, doctors concluded that she was in the terminal stage of cirrhosis. She has been blessed to be able to spend her final moments in the comfort of her home surrounded by her kids and grandchildren.

The medical expenses have been overwhelming, and our family was not prepared for the unexpected finances of her sudden illness and the subsequent costs of her funeral. We humbly ask for any assistance that can help her children lay her to rest properly, honoring her wishes and her faith.
