Support for Darcy Modin's Cancer Treatment

As some of you may know, Darcy was diagnosed with Uterine Cancer in August just as her and Kevin were getting ready to close on their new home. Unfortunately due to moving back to the Alma area and changes in their employment she is not currently insured and is not able to utilize Kevin's insurance until the first of the year.

To pay deductibles, hormonal treatment, testing and traveling expenses we are raising money. She will have to have a MRI, chest X-Ray, ECG and blood work. 

Surgery will take place at the end of January in Ann Arbor with at least a two night stay in the hospital.  Darcy's uterus is so enlarged that she will not be able to have the procedure done laparoscopically and will need a much more invasive procedure. Her specialist is placing her on a hormonal pill regimen that should keep the tumor from increasing in size until she is able to get the surgery needed.

If you are able to contribute in any way financially or with prayers that would be very much appreciated as this is a very trying and scary time for this amazingly strong and loving woman. Darcy is so generous with her time, finances and heart that I hope we can shower her with love and our help as she faces this head on.
