Support for Darrell and Pam - GBS Recovery

My name is Taryn and I am Darrell and Pam's granddaughter. I am starting this Go Fund Me because on 12/20/19 Darrell was diagnosed with Guillain-Barre Syndrome. This condition has quickly taken away his control over his hands and feet and is rapidly causing all of his limbs to go numb and effecting his respiratory system. Due to the rarity of this condition, Darrell is currently at OSU Hospital in Columbus, an hour away from home. The road to recovery is expected to be a long one with at least another two to three month hospital stay due to the amount of plasma exchange procedures needed and physical therapy sessions he will have to go through. We are not through the worst part of it yet, he is expected to get worse before he can start recovery. This Go Fund Me is to help with any expenses that my grandma will have to face throughout his recovery such as gas to get to and from Columbus, bills (their sole income was from Darrell's job), etc. We want her to be able to focus on her husband and not have to worry about money right now. 

Darrell is a loving family man, man of God, and die hard Ohio State fan. He is one if the best men you will ever meet and if you ever have gotten the pleasure to meet him, you have sure heard one of his famous jokes. Him and Pam have been together for over 48 years, she deserves to only focus on him right now. Any sort of donation, prayers, good thoughts, etc. is greatly appreciated.
