Support for Darryl's Final Farewell

Donation protected
It is with the heaviest of hearts that we inform all that knew and cared for our oldest brother, Darryl Lee Edwards, that he passed away on December 8th, 2024, at 1:27 am Sunday morning. Darryl had been on life support and as his family, we collectively chose to let him peacefully pass pain free and surrounded by his younger siblings. We were given a prognosis that he would just not be able to withstand life on his own without a vent, or other lifesaving measures keeping him alive. We chose what was best for our big brother. We are thankful to have had the ability to have our final conversations with him, share memories and photos and music with him before he decided to make his grand exit from this life. It just so happened that "Goodbye Yellow brick Road" by Sir Elton John was playing during his final moments, if you knew him, you knew that was his many favorite Elton songs. My siblings and I are now faced with his final affairs and costs and planning a celebration of life, which we will keep all informed of those plans. However, we have been met with extreme, financial hardship with his passing and are needing as much help as possible to afford it all. One of our siblings lost his job to be with his brother in his final moments.

Darryl would have been 64 in a few days on the 15th, so we ask everyone to remember him on his 1st heavenly birthday this week in their own way and how they remembered him. Darry is survived by his siblings, Sister Christine Allen, Sister Christi Joanou, Brother Adam Edwards and I, his baby sister Erin Rodriguez, and their families. Any and all funds, contributions and consideration are deeply appreciated at this time.
