Support for Dave and Kathy Lightner

Dave and Kathy have a love story that has lasted 32 years and is still counting. They have been through ups and downs, they have 2 beautiful daughters and they are the proudest grandparents to 4 cuties. Like many others this year (2020), Dave and Kathy were hit with some pretty hard news to digest. The big "C" word is hard to process but Dave and Kathy have a tribe of people to help with the big fight. Unfortunately, all the love and kind words in the world cannot help with the fight that is now the overwhelming amount of medical bills and the fact that Kathy is now unable to work so that she can help care for Dave. Kathy has worked at Walmart for 20+ years and having to leave her work family is not only hard to process but also a new burden they must endure. They won't come out and ask for anything; no extra help, no money, they are happy just going through the motions with their family and friends by their side. We have taken it upon ourselves to start this Go-Fund me in hopes that we can raise money to help alleviate some of the stress and hardships that come along with this hard cancer fight. If in the process we can help raise awareness for bone and lung cancers then it will only be icing on the cake. Please help us to surprise them with love and emotional support and whatever financial support you can provide. For all of those that know Dave and Kathy from Rockey's Campground, Moose Lodge, Char Lanes bowling alley or their longtime residence in Eaton County  we thank you for the love and support already provided and going forward.
