Our Dad and Grandpa, David O'Shogay Sr. has passed away due to complications with Alzheimer's and Dementia. He lived a life full of joy and happiness shared with his family and friends. His life's story has been blessed with many different life experiences. He was of Native American descent and a member of the Ojibwe Tribe, Lac Courte Orielles Reservation, Wisconsin. He served in the Vietnam War aboard the USS Ogden and the USS Intrepid and was a long time Veteran of the United States Navy. He was a Truck-driver for 20+ years before having to retire early due to his health. Throughout his life he traveled through all 50 states and many countries while in the Navy. He was man who would do anything for his family. He loved them dearly. Through it all he never forgot his children and grandchildren. He leaves behind 3 children, 8 grandchildren, and preceded in death by 1 grandson, Caleb. He was exactly where he wanted to be at home surrounded with love and Bear, his doggie companion at the time of his passing.
We appreciate donations to honor his final wishes to be buried next to his parents and siblings.
