Support for David Harshbarger

It is with a heavy heart that David's family asks for support at this time. David Harshbarger, 68, was diagnosed with terminal lung and bone cancer. He recently started radiation treatments and will soon begin chemotherapy. He started having unbearable pain in April 2022, and this August his medical examinations had proven a metastatic tumor pressing on his spine and several metastatic growths on his lungs.

David is a father, grandfather, partner, and a dear friend to many. He has spent his life not only as a pro outdoorsman (hunting, fishing, farming, and enjoying all that nature has to offer) but first and foremost, as a very loving dad and grandfather. He is always present for our life hurdles and celebrations alike, big or small.

David currently lives in New Berlin with his son Christopher, who just celebrated his 12th birthday, he and his dad are the best of buds who spend time together day and night.

He is suffering with unimaginable pain and great sadness. His mobility is limited, and the pain is debilitating. He needs his community's well wishes and love to fight this disease. We encourage you to visit, call, and write love letters to him.
