I've never met anyone like Daymond D Dodge. This guy is a special human who shows us all how to live and love life. It is always refreshing to see a person enjoy connecting to everyone, literally being everywhere sharing his love for the skateboarding family. If it’s about the history of Skateboarding, you will always find his happy face in the crowd. One of the key phrases for Daymond and his followers is "How Much".  I want to expand on this phrase, It should be used to cover the vast amount of time he has spent in this niche community and what it’s meant to him. If you think the skateboards are what he loved, you would be wrong. Yes he wanted to have them and has many, but the "How Much" quote he gets labeled with really means "How Much" he loved his skateboarding family. He loves you, his skateboarding family.

Over the last several years myself and many of you found this gentleman to be amazing and ultra-dedicated to people first, then the love for all things skateboarding. No one has spent more time or energy related to the history of Skateboarding. He has officially become a skate ambassador and dignitary to this family.

Over the last year, Daymond has been on his own dealing with a unknown condition that slowly started attacking his speech. Whenever I asked him what was wrong, he shrugged it off and let me know that he was working with his doctors to figure it out. As time has passed, Daymond's condition has continued to worsen. Many of us who talked to him in person could hear the loss of his vocal speech control. This condition has now taken his voice completely. If it were not for social media, much of who he is and what you see would not be here at all. This is a very serious condition that has Daymond in the fight of his life and it is working very hard against him.

The diagnosis has yet to be exactly confirmed, it’s a Muscular dystrophy type illness that is also showing many signs of ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease). What I know after seeing Daymond today (6/28/19) is that he has been fighting this thing alone for what feels like a quick couple years, and is now he is really suffering.  He has lost his ability to move freely, eat, shower, work and make a living. All of the basics we take for granted. He needs our help now. I set up this page to offer all his friends and followers an insight to what’s going on with Daymond. This is a very real situation that is very much a "now" issue.

Daymond could not put up this page, he is too proud. Please know the page is 100% for him and the rising expenses he is incurring. He can no longer work and is alone in his place much of the time.

It’s time for this to be known and allow for all his friends and supporters a chance to help him out.

He is always been reachable on his Facebook.  While he has given me the nod to create this page, please try to keep the focus that this help is real and he may not be able to reply to every single message. He needs our help in this very difficult time. Please donate whatever you can.  I hope this reads clearly enough so you all know how serious this is for Daymond!
