Support for Dean and Joy Wasson

Dean Wasson has been struggling with major health concerns. An MRI in March revealed he had several strokes. He spent nearly a week in ICU and since then he has had several more strokes. His high blood pressure is being treated, but he continues to have stroke events that are debilitating and scary. Dean is scheduled to be seen in Neurology at Mayo Clinic at the end of this month. It is essential that Joy travel with him and attend all appointments.

“How can we help?” I know many of us have messaged and called Joy and Dean with this question, especially since they are the first to ask this when any of us have been in need. We are praying, and that is evident in so many ways. If you are able, here is another way to help this sweet family as they seek to identify why Dean is having repeated strokes and get treatment to stop them.

We want to gift Joy and Dean with funds to support their travel, meals, and stay in a hotel near Mayo Clinic for however long is needed, or for repeated trips. If Dean is admitted, we’d like to relieve Joy of some financial fears so that she can be close by and also have a place to retreat to and process during this stressful time.
