Support for Dean Roberts’ Family

Last week Dean Roberts’ family shared the devastating news that he had passed away in his sleep during a stay in Lisbon. There simply aren’t adequate words to sum up Dean’s immense spirit and creativity – his loss is being felt deeply from his current home in Berlin to his native New Zealand and all the places in between that he graced with his singular humor and wit.

While his friends and community around the world share in his family’s heartbreak, his parents are now facing a mounting list of expenses – from cremation and repatriation costs to final payments associated with his rental contracts, to the interim storage and shipping of his personal things.

Donations of any amount will go a long way toward easing this unexpected financial stress and help give his family the resources they need to focus on grieving for their son and brother, while already dealing with the unimaginable task of coordinating his final arrangements between three countries.
