Support for Dennis's Funeral and Rita's Journey

Hello, my name is Michelle. I’m hoping to help raise funds to help my long-time friend, Rita, pay for her husband Dennis’s funeral and memorial expenses.

Dennis and Rita recently retired from their careers in education here and moved to Oregon. Both are well-known for their kindness and giving to others. Rita was actually in town for two funerals of family and friends when just two days before she was to return home, she was given the tragic and shocking news that her husband Dennis was found in their backyard in Oregon. They retired to Oregon, but Springfield is their home and where a majority of their friends and family members live, including Dennis’s two sons and granddaughter. This is where services will be held on July 3rd.

Rita needs our help, not an easy thing to admit for someone who is always helping others. She flew here just last year to help her best friend with the loss of her husband, my brother-in-law. Now, I hope to help make this tragedy a little easier for her.

All donations will be used to help with the funeral, memorial, and her travel expenses, etc.
