Support for Diana's Medical Journey

Hi everyone,

My name is Karina & I hope this message finds you well. I want to share a heartfelt update about my cousin, Diana, who is currently facing a challenging health battle.

Diana is awaiting surgery to remove two cancerous tumors in her leg, part of the comprehensive treatment plan for her bone cancer. The recovery process is expected to span four months, given everything goes as planned. Amidst this, Diana has been undergoing chemotherapy to combat the cancer.

On New Year's day, Diana was admitted to the hospital due to a severe infection, revealing additional lumps in her breast. Complications arose during the treatment, leading to liver damage caused by strong antibiotics. Unfortunately, these health challenges have made it impossible for Diana to continue working as a ceramist for her own business.

Adding to the difficulties, Diana, being a New Zealander who made Australia her home for the last 21 years, is not eligible for government assistance due to changes in laws implemented in 2001. This leaves her in a tough spot, struggling to cover rent, living expenses, and essential medical costs.

I'm reaching out to ask for your support, no matter how small, to help alleviate the financial burden on Diana. Your contributions will enable her to focus all her energy on battling this cruel disease without the added stress of financial worries.
