Support for Diane Wilks

This GoFundMe was started to help relieve medical costs for my beautiful Mother, the one and only, incredible, amazing, supportive Diane Wilks. Let me briefly tell you a little about Sister Wilks. In 2020 she began having serious health challenges that started with major hernia surgery ( the physician stopped counting there were so many) that resulted in a 14 day stay in the hospital , moving in with my husband and I and for an extended amount of time during her recovery, wound dehiscence, a wound vac, a major infection , drains for over a year, and a wound that FINALLY closed up months ago. She has been through it and as her caregiver with so many people asking what do you all need- I felt led- despite the discomfort , to speak up.

These medical findings have resulted in medical expenses totaling in the tens of thousands of Dollars that we are still paying on. My mother is now in the hospital with blood clots in her lungs, and other unforeseen acute illnesses that were completely unexpected and will require several specialists and ongoing care ( some, they say for the rest of her life) . She is a fighter and strong spiritual woman with a love for Jehovah and I know she will win this battle.
