Support for Dillan Dahlien’s Battle with Cancer

Hello, my name is Breanna Keller, and I am working with this fundraiser to help support my best friend, Dillan Dahlien, through his battle with Stage 4 Squamous Cell Carcinoma Cancer.

At age 31, Dillan has been dealt a hand that no one should have to deal with. With no early indications of cancer, Dillan went in for an annual check-up, and reported some back pain and fatigue. Four weeks later, he was given the news that he had Stage 4 cancer in several places within his body.

However, due to a few other underlying health conditions, including a bone marrow disorder, Dillan needed to travel to the University of Minnesota to work with a very specialized team of doctors. They are working very hard to help him get started on a treatment plan of both radiation and chemotherapy; due to the aggressiveness of this cancer and the other health conditions, finding the right treatment plan is like “threading a needle”.

While Dillan is at the University of Minnesota, he is unable to do the things he loves: working at Acme Tools, drumming in his band Overlien, and spending time with his brothers, friends, and baby Bruno (the 75 pound puppy he loves so much).

Dillan is one of the most caring and supportive people you could ever meet, and now it’s time for him to receive support in return.
