Support for Dunbar DC Football Team

Hello There! My name is Sharnita and I am the Mom of a rising Jr Student Athlete who attends Paul Lawrence Dunbar SHS in Washington, DC. Duke and his Team, The ValleyBoyz as they are known, are a group of enthusiatic, Scholar Athletes who live in the inner city of DC. Their dedication to becoming their BEST Self on the field and in the classroom despite the rising crime rate in the area is admirable as they continue to show up in the classroom and on field. This is evident by their grades, and their focus and drive during the off season to prepare for the season has been unmatched. From 2 a days, yoga, pool workouts, weight room, field work, film, and so on. Because of this, they deserve to have everything they need. We don’t have the funding to provide alot of the needs of the team, so it is my mission as a Mom to support my son and his teammates to the best of my ability. I created this account because the Team is in need of support to purchase team gear so that they can be uniformed for game days, as well as game day meals, snacks/protein for practice and game days, and other needs for the team, including travel expenses, equipment, etc. I rarely ask for things like this but when it comes to my son, and supporting him, momma gotta do what needs to be done. No donation is too small or big and we appreciate all that donates to this AMAZING program.
