Support for George Jenkins Sr lost it all in Altadena fire

Dear friends, and family
I’m George jenkins Jr. I’m from the city of Altadena just like many of you. I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to share the devastating news that my father George jenkins SR and uncle's apartment was completely destroyed in the recent fires in Altadena. They lost everything they owned in the blaze—a tragic situation that has left them without a home or any of their belongings.
My father is an incredibly hardworking man who has always put his family first. Many of you from the community know my father and have grown to love him as your own. Unfortunately, due to the rapid spread of the fire and the chaos of evacuation, he was unable to retrieve any of his possessions. All of his items were consumed by the flames.
My little brother checked on My father in the middle of the night around 3 am and he urged him to leave. As soon as my father woke up and opened up his door his neighbors roof was on fire and the fire was literally coming through his door. He rushed to wake the rest of the neighbors up because he had noticed their cars parked. He was able to wake up all the neighbors and leave in time but lost everything because of how fast it was all burning. Our neighbors lives were more important than any of our personal items.
During the fire, Altadena did not receive any help from the fire fighters in our community or from any other communities. We were given evacuation orders for the harmful smoke in the air from the Eaton fire. Only to return home the next day and find out people’s entire neighborhoods were burned down. His car was burned inside the garage, and all of his tools for work were burned inside the apartment. Now, at the age of 67 he faces this unimaginable loss. I will be managing the donations for my father, and once we meet our goal all funds will be given to him cash or by check. I have created this GoFundMe campaign to seek your support for my father and our family during this difficult time. Your generous contributions will provide much-needed relief and help me navigate the uncertainties ahead.
No contribution is too small—every little bit helps and will be deeply appreciated. If you can’t donate, please share this campaign with your network to help spread the word.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support during this challenging time.
