Support Eileen’s Family

On the early morning hours of Monday, September 2nd, Eileen Theresa Renteria fell down a flight of stairs in a hotel in Dallas, Texas. She suffered multiple brain injuries as a result, and has been in a medically induced coma since. She is not expected to wake up.

Eileen is the most selfless person I’ve ever had the privilege of knowing. She has given up her own dreams, aspirations, desires, and resources on numerous occasions to help her friends and family. She is fun loving, joyous, empathetic, and extremely outgoing. She was taking care of her granddaughter, Serenity, whose mother is currently incarcerated. She loved that little girl with all of her strength.

Our family is asking for donations based on the almost certain outcome that we will have to plan funeral services. Thankfully, her medical expenses are covered by her companies’ insurance. We are grateful for anything you may be able to give. Any leftover money would go to support Serenity, who is currently in the care of Eileen’s brother, Tom.
