Support for Elizabeth Okerson's Final Journey

Hello families and friends of Elizabeth LIZ Okerson,

This is Courtney. I am Liz’s daughter, reaching out to you all in one way to let everyone who loved Liz know that she has had a major heart attack. This left her body without oxygen for approximately 15 minutes, which has caused severe brain damage. My mom has had no brain activity for two full days. We are now speaking of her end of life; all doctors are saying the same thing. My mom is gone; her body lives on this earth with only assistance, but her mind and spirit have moved on. We are having to make the difficult decision to allow her body to follow her mind and spirit, allowing all those that want or need to see her a few more hours to do so.

She is at Fresno Community Hospital, and I am to be contacted to ensure you can have your time. Please help me lay my mother to rest properly as she is a wonderful and loving, kind-hearted woman. She has shown love throughout her life, and to return that favor now would be forever grateful. We are in need; she is in need as this was an unexpected event that has truly devastated our family.
