Support for Enola During Time of Grieving
Donation protected
On Christmas Day my father, Tim Pittman, found peace in heaven after battling cancer for 5 years. Our family is going through this difficult time of grief, but unfortunately at this time my mother on top of our loss during this holiday season now has financial stress. My father was an amazing man and the rock of family in many ways. Dad endured so much; chemo, pain management, frequent blood transfusions, testing, dialysis, wound care and etc. My mother's unconditional love while caring for my father has been unwavering throughout all the doctor appointments, treatments, and hospitalizations. My family would do it all again in a heartbeat with no hesitation or regret.
Dad was the breadwinner in our household before becoming ill and throughout these five years, my mother was one of his primary caregivers. Thankfully mom's job was understanding and tried to be as flexible as possible, the financial stress still continued to grow. Dad's 401k went to medical bills, his social security and disability were able to keep my parents afloat. After dad's passing, my mother fears due to technicalities she is unable to continue to receive social security or disability. Mom does not have a 401k nor savings to rely on. Mom is too prideful to ask for monetary assistance, thus why my family wanted to create this fundraiser for her.
Together as a family, we try to support my mother the best we can, but we need some help and that is why I am starting this Go Fund Me on my mother's behalf. My mother, Enola, is devasted losing her husband and soulmate of 38 years, but while grieving she is also terrified of her future and how to pay for expenses. I hate that this sort of issue is plaguing my mom when she is in this vulnerable position in life.
The Pittman family is grateful to all who have come to our aid and have given us prayers/emotional support. Please do not feel pressured into donating, but if you are interested in giving anything my family is extremely grateful for your kind action whether it be emotional support or financial. Honestly, I appreciate anyone who even takes their time to read this and for you keeping my family in your thoughts.
