Support for Erin and Family

To know my sister is to love her. Erin is a shining light, a generous soul, and can connect with just about anyone.
In early April, Erin was diagnosed with breast cancer. She has a tumor in her right breast and it has already grown quite large, it is intermediate in growth aggression, and has spread to a few of the axillary lymph nodes. It will require chemotherapy, surgery (likely a mastectomy + lymph removal), and radiation.
If you know Erin, this is all quite a shock as she is a healthy and health-conscious person. Due to the coronavirus and heightened risks of hospital visits, her treatments will be every two weeks instead of weekly. This means that for the next four months she will undergo chemo every other Wednesday, starting April 29. Erin feels confident in her medical team, and we have made a support plan for family to be in Bend to help Shannon and the girls. It's an added challenge to undergo all of this in a global pandemic.
I know it is an unprecedented and stressful time for everyone right now, with many people taxed financially. If you have the means, we would greatly appreciate support to allow for Erin, Shannon, and the girls to focus on healing and not have to worry about mortgage and bills for the next few months. At the moment, neither Erin nor Shannon is able to work due to COVID-19. Every little bit helps tremendously.
We also have a MealTrain plan set up, and I'm sure as things progress and we understand how Erin is effected by the chemo there will be more ways to help. Feel free to reach out to me directly if you would like to offer other means of support.
