Support for Eugene and Deb

On July 30th Eugene went in to St.Boniface Hospital for an angioplasty on his left leg. During surgery the doctor couldn't open the artery properly so he decided to take Eugene back into surgery to do a bypass they used an artery from his right thigh after he came out of that surgery there was an issue with his lower right leg. He was then taken back into surgery to repair a punctured artery. Consequently after 3 surgeries in approximately 17 hours he was taken to the ICU and was left fighting for his life. He was unstable and in critical condition. His blood pressure kept dropping extremely low and then his kidneys failed. It was very much touch and go for a few days but he slowly improved each day and he has been recovering since then. Unfortunately when Eugene had his surgery at the end of July the swelling that happened the following day crushed all the vessels in his leg and on January 3rd he was admitted into the hospital and at approximately 7:00pm Jan 4th he went into surgery to amputate his lower right leg. They were able to save his knee but his leg was dying on the inside and would never recover. He came through this surgery well and the doctor was very pleased with the outcome. Now it's up to him to heal and start this new chapter in his life. He should be able to get a prosthetic leg in 3 to 6 months but because it's his right leg and he's been a professional driver most of his life he will have to find another path. healing. My hope is that this Go Fund Me page will help ease some of the financial burden they have encountered so that Deb and Eugene can focus on his health and recovery.  Please give what you can to help these two out during this difficult time and please remember to keep them in your thoughts and prayers❤
