Support while in the hospital
Friends and Family,
UPDATE: 12/2019 the diagnosis went from GBS to AFM from Bryan West.
As you may know, my daughter Evy Sayavong has been in ICU since 11/4/2019 at Overland Park Regional Medical Center. The doctor says the symptoms leads to Guillain-Barré Syndrome. It happened so suddenly. She is currently paralyzed from neck down and using breathing and feeding tubes.
Despite the situation, we know she can hear us and wants to respond because shows facial expressions and we can see it in her eyes.
Her two young children only knows their mother is very ill and have not seen her since. They may not be able to visit her until 2 more weeks, when she is out of ICU. I know they miss their mother. The support from family and loved ones has helped our family cope with this situation.
The reason I am are asking for this support is to to pay for medical deductibles, equipment and necessities that insurance doesn’t cover or things the hospital doesn’t provide.
The doctor said she will recover but it will take time for her to get back to normal activities such as walking, working, and doing normal things. Recovery can take 6 months to an entire year. Your donation will help tremendously.
You may share this link to extend your support. Thank you again for your support.
Sincerely,
Bouachanh Sayavong-Sirithasak (Tham)
