Support for Family of Partab, Sonam & Anoop

The Pakistan Canada Association of Edmonton ( PCAE) jointly with the Pakistan Canada Association Calgary - PCA would like to request the community to help support the family of recently deceased Partab, his wife Sonam and their nephew, Anoop Oad. We would like to thank Lajwanti Rathor for spearheading the GoFund Me initiative and collaborating the account into a community initiative.

On August 11, 2020 Partab and his family of 5 accompanied with their nephew Anoop visited Crescent Falls on the Bighorn River. Soon thereafter, the family decided to swim in the river, but due to unfortunate turn of events, Anoop was swept away by strong currents in the river. His uncle, Partab, tried to save him but was also caught in the strong currents. Seeing what was happening, Partabs wife, Sonam, also entered the river with intention to rescue her husband and nephew, unfortunately, she was also taken. They left behind 3 children aged 3, 6, and 10.
