Support for First-Time Mother's Natural Birth

I’m currently seeking help raising funds for an unmedicated water birth. This birth is 100% self-pay as they do not accept my insurance at this time. (They are currently approved for PPO and not HMO).

The care at this place isn’t anywhere near comparable to a hospital. With this being my first birth, I’m looking for a team that will make me feel at ease without being pressured into taking Pitocin, epidural, or any vaccines that I wouldn’t want my child to be given. Though I have a right to decline all of these things, this birth center is more intimate and personal which is exactly what I’m looking for. Opposed to a hospital where it is primarily a business which can make you feel like a number (as I’ve recently been feeling at my past doctor appointments).

They offer a variety of care for their clients such as a full kitchen, Swedish bars, bathtubs, luxury beds, knowledgeable midwives, laughing gas (nitrous oxide), delayed cord clamping, 30+ minute doctor visits, classes for first time parents, real post-partum care that comes with massages and an herbal bath and much more. They highly encourage clients to bring a “victory-meal” for immediately after birth which is a home cooked meal that can be heated up in their oven such as a pan lasagna that can be cooked beforehand.
