Support for funeral expenses post Tragic Fire.

On September 26th at 1:30 am, we received news that a house fire took the life of my Aunt Joanne, her dog Zeus and critically injured my Uncle Chris and Uncle Paul. Both Paul and Chris are fighting for their lives at UF Health/Shands Gainesville Burn Center. Paul suffered 2nd-degree burns to his upper extremities, face, and shoulders. He is currently on a ventilator due to the smoke inhalation injury to his lungs.

Chris is very unstable and at this time has a very low chance of surviving his injuries. His heroic actions of helping his brother Paul out of the house and going back inside to attempt to save his sister Joanne have left him with very life-threatening injuries. He has suffered a very severe inhalation injury, 3rd-degree burns to his face, head, arms, and back. He is currently on a ventilator, CRT, and they are considering ECMO as his organs are failing. They have encouraged family to visit and say goodbyes in case he does not survive the weekend.

My family is asking for your prayers and assistance during this very tough time. The house and all belongings are a total loss. Any funds raised will go towards funeral arrangements/burial expenses for my Aunt Joanne and possibly her two brothers Chris and Paul if they are unable to recover. We appreciate all the love and support during these unimaginable times.
