Support for Gary and Mary Weaver's family through tragedy

Hello, this GoFundMe is raising money to help raise funds for the family of Gary and Mary Weaver during this difficult time. Gary Weaver, a loving father and grandfather, was tragically and suddenly taken from this world on June 19th during an attack while they were at a rest stop in their RV, on the way to Portland to visit their son. His wife Mary was injured and is now stable after sustaining life threating injuries

The Weavers are well known among friends, family, and community members for being kind, gentle, and full of humor and generosity. Gary and Mary married 46 years ago and had two children and one grandchild. Gary loved to travel, and he, Mary, and the family went on many adventures together. He was a well-known musician in the 70s, playing with The Walter Scott Band, and a longtime pianist for Third Baptist Church, not to mention what an incredible father and grandpa he was. He particularly loved to share his love of music with his children and grandson. Mary is in stable condition and will hopefully be transported back to St. Louis soon for continued medical care.

Support is needed to help the family offset funeral, legal, transportation, medical, and other costs associated with the tragic and unexpected events.
