Support for Gifford-Luna family
Donation protected
On November 11, 2021 our family tragically lost my sweet nephew, Joshua Gifford.
Joshua was on his way to work when he was fatally struck by a truck. He was only 19 years and was on his way to building his own future. Joshua had just graduated from high school in 2020 and was working to save money for school and business. He had a beautiful smile and a loving heart for his family. He was always the first to help his grandparents with any task. Every single night, regardless of the time, he said good night to his parents and told them he loved them. He was the most caring son and best, funniest brother. His absence leaves a gaping hole in our hearts that aches for more time with him.
His brother, Jake, and sister, Mia, are heartbroken at the loss of their baby/big brother. Although, they are doing everything they can to support their parents, their grief is overwhelming. My sister, Miriam has been in the process of recovering from a severe bout with covid and, after being placed on a ventilator for two weeks in 2020, she continues to struggle with the lasting effects over the past year. My brother-in-law, Steve is in the first weeks of recovery from foot surgery and is unable to work for the next couple of months.
We are a tight-knit family of strong faith and belief, however we are all so completely devastated. We are at a loss as how to continue to support Miriam, Steve, Jake and Mia.
We are now left with the heartbreaking task of dealing with both the emotional and financial hardships during this difficult time of sorrow and loss.
We hope those who can, and are willing to donate, will join us in supporting the Gifford family in any way possible.
Any and all help is greatly appreciated as we continue to try to find the light and love once again without our sweet Joshy.
God bless.
