Support for Grandma Betty!

Grandma Betty, aka The People’s Granny, aka Babyface Granny needs our help — we need to raise $25k for her care needs. She recently suffered a stroke and by the grace of all the gods, she has been released from the hospital and has come home to her family. In-home care is incredibly expensive. To make sure Grandma Betty has the dignity and ease she deserves in this sacred time we are asking the community to donate anything you can.

Monetary donations are needed the most right now and are much appreciated. $20k will cover full-time caregiving a few days a week, delivered meals, alternative care to bring Granny some relief and allow the family some respite.

To all the little babies Granny has adopted over the years and to those who have felt her love, she says to keep on truckin’. If she makes a miraculous recovery, Granny wants her 100th birthday party to be at the Twin Peaks Bar in the Castro and everyone is invited.

Granny is a lover of jokes, trivia, good news, pictures of animals, and old-school snail mail. If you want to send some love along in any capacity it is deeply appreciated.
