Support for Grayson Zrelak

Donation protected
On Tuesday, January 16th, 2024, Grayson Zrelak was riding his skateboard to his part-time job at Sonic when he was struck by a SUV while crossing a cross walk at an intersection in Longwood, Florida.

Grayson was assisted by several individuals who witnessed the horrific accident and Seminole County first responders were on the scene within minutes. Grayson was transported to HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital in Sanford, Florida where he was placed in the ICU in critical condition.

The full severity of Grayson's injuries remains unknown at this time. His clinical and surgical teams are patiently waiting for his body to begin to heal, stabilize and for the massive swelling to go down to further assess his injuries and medical needs, both short and long term. Grayson is heavily sedated and intubated and has a very long road ahead of him which will include surgeries to repair his facial, nasal, and cranial breaks and fractures.

Grayson and his family, which include his parents Carl and Michelle and his twin sister Avery, are unfortunately no strangers to hospitals and have already been through so much...

Grayson is a two-time Hodgkin’s Lymphoma survivor, a true a cancer warrior! Grayson is resilient, tough and nothing short of incredible.

He has used his own personal and painful journey to spread awareness and advocate for pediatric cancer. He has stood on stages in front of thousands of people across the country, shared his heartbreaking yet remarkable story across mass and social media platforms (which includes documenting his bone marrow transplant on his YouTube channel), been a partner and spokesperson for countless local and national pediatric cancer charities and has helped raise millions of dollars to fund pediatric cancer initiatives and support children and their families experiencing the unthinkable.

Grayson has given back in more ways than we can count and now he needs our help and support. He is currently in his second semester at the University of Central Florida studying Game Design and as mentioned, works part-time at Sonic.

While the full scope of his long-term care is yet to be determined, his medical and financial needs are immediate as the medical care and costs for trauma patients in his condition are extensive. So many people have asked how they can help Grayson and this is the best way to do so. Please consider making a donation to support Grayson and his medical expenses. Every single penny donated will go directly towards ensuring Grayson receives the lifesaving care he needs to heal. Any amount is appreciated and sharing this is another way to offer your support.

On behalf of Grayson and his family, thank you for your kind words, continued prayers, love and support.

Please note: Out of respect for Grayson and his privacy, the full details of the accident and scope of his vulnerable condition will not be fully shared at this time. However, his mother Michelle Zrelak, will use this platform to update Grayson's family, friends and supporters of his condition.
