Support for Greg’s struggle

Hello,

My name is Samantha Ralston, and I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude for taking a moment to read our story.

I am reaching out on behalf of my stepdad, Greg Harper. He is currently the primary caregiver for my terminally ill mother, Melissa Moles, who has been bravely fighting stage four cholangiocarcinoma, also known as bile duct cancer. Unfortunately, this aggressive cancer has spread rapidly, affecting her breast, spine, ribs, and two spots in her brain.

As you can imagine, this situation has taken an immense emotional toll on our family. To be by Melissa's side, Greg's workplace had to put him on leave, which means he is currently without an income. Every day, he travels from Smithton to the Burnie hospital to support Melissa, incurring fuel expenses and spending precious time on the road. With no source of income, managing the costs of essential needs such as food, mortgage, and daily living expenses has become an overwhelming challenge.

In light of these difficult circumstances, we are reaching out to request your support in alleviating the financial burden Greg is facing. Your generous contribution, regardless of size, will significantly impact his life right now. It could be as simple as donating food from your pantry, a loaf of bread, or eggs from your chickens - every little bit helps and adds up for Greg.
