Support for Haden Family

Donation protected
Nick Haden, beloved father and husband, died May 16, 2023.

He unexpectedly passed away during what should have been a happy event - a family trip to attend a wedding. We - Nick's cousins - are asking for support to help his wife Cindy and mother Karen with funeral expenses, including the immense cost to bring Nick back home to Texas. Any additional funds will support the care of his son, Ryan.

Your generous support is deeply appreciated. Our family is in shock and grieving, but none more so than his wife and son.

Nicholas Aaron Haden, 33, of Richardson, Texas, passed away May 16, 2023.

Nick, as he was known to friends and family, was a deeply beloved husband, father, son, brother, grandson and nephew. He is survived by his devoted wife, Cindy Haden, and son Ryan Haden.

Nick was born August 6, 1989 in Rowlett, Texas, to Karen Myers. Nick was a 2008 graduate of Mesquite High School and a 2022 graduate of Dallas College. While he was excited to continue his studies at the University of North Texas, Nick found his true calling and fulfillment in fatherhood. He loved nothing more than being a devoted and attentive father to 2-year-old Ryan. Nick leaves behind a strong legacy of love for his family.

An equally devoted husband, Nick created indelible memories traveling the globe with wife Cindy. Their travels included their joyous nuptials at Niagara Falls and a trip to Japan, a highlight for Nick, an avid anime fan. A visit to Ireland, where Nick connected with his Irish roots and learned to make a perfect pour at the Guinness Storehouse, made such an impression he planned to return one day with his son.

Always the family jokester, Nick was known for his goofy sense of humor and knack for picking out the funniest gifts. He also enjoyed cars and worked in the automotive and firearms industries for several years.

Nick is also survived by his mother, Karen Myers, sisters Cassidie Hecks and Lacey Tomassoni, grandparents George and Betty Myers, aunts and uncles Terry and Ron Rutledge, Robin and Ronnie Foster, cousins Jayme Rutledge Howell, Kylee Rutledge, Maegan Foster and Sterling Foster, brother-in-law Isaac Juarez, nephew Aiden Juarez and cherished family dog Dirk. Nick will be deeply missed by many other family members and friends.

A private memorial will be held by the family.
