****Update... we don't know how much time we have left with Hannah at this point. They are keeping her comfortable at hospice now and she is unfortunately declining faster than we thought she would. We are thinking she has a couple days left with us at most, if that. Please keep Hannah in your prayers and pray for comfort for her at this time. Please keep Jeremiah in your prayers also he definitely needs all the support and love during this time. Thank you everyone for your continued love, thoughts, and prayers for Hannah. You have no idea how much it means during this difficult time.

Hi, my name is Faith Hatmaker and my family and I are trying to raise money for the care of my cousin Hannah Bates and her Son Jeremiah.

If you don't currently know, Hannah was diagnosed with Cirrhosis of the liver about 3 months ago and has been in and out of the hospital ever since. She has always had issues with her liver to begin with but we really didnt know how severe it really was for her. Out of a scale of surviving this disease she is at a 38 on the MELD score (Model for end stage liver disease) , 40 being the worst. She is so young, being only 27 years old and still has so much life in her.

She unfortunately is at the end stages of her Cirrhosis of the liver, and now her kidneys are starting to shut down on top of her liver already shutting down. We had conversations with multiple hospitals and her doctors and they told us there is nothing else they can do for her. We have literally exhausted every option we could to try to get her to a facility that would give her a liver transplant, even out of state ones. Due to money reasons, location, and the state of her liver, they sadly told us she will not make it long enough to qualify for the procedure. We are still not giving up hope and we are hoping some miracle will happen even with it being almost impossible.

At this time, we are trying to raise money for Hannah and Jeremiah to help them through this and what ever may happen in the future. Or maybe somehow her story will get to the right person and we could get her out of this situation. Either way, we want to make sure Hannah and Jeremiah both has all the support that they can get during this difficult time.

If you know know Hannah personally, you know she is such a kind hearted, outgoing, free spirit that can really brighten up a room. She has always been someone that cares about her loved ones and always has tried to be the support system for all of her friends and family. Her son Jeremiah and daughter Leianna are both her world and the most important to her. And if you asked Jeremiah, Hannah is the most important person to him (aside from his dad). She is literally all he talks about and worries about, he looks up to his mommy so much and loves her with all his heart.

Hannah has always been one of my biggest supporters on my side. She is my little cousin but in reality she is really so much more than that... she is my sister, best friend, Farrah's aunt Hannah, just our goofy ass person. I couldn't imagine my life without her at all and I know there are MANY others that feel the same way about her.

If you also are close to Hannah you know how much she has went through in her childhood and adulthood, including loosing her baby girl. None of this is fair to her and she has always deserved the world. If you are a friend of Hannah's or even a past friend, please feel free to reach out. She needs all the support and love during this time and I know she would love having anyone that feels the need to, to come and visit her or even give her a phone call with encouragement.
