Hello, my name is Gulzar Singh Nirman, and I am creating this GoFundMe page on behalf of the grieving family of Harshandeep Singh Anttal, a kind-hearted and hardworking young man who tragically lost his life after being shot while on duty as a security guard at his job site in Edmonton. This senseless act of violence has left his family, friends, and loved ones shattered and struggling to cope with this devastating loss.

Harshandeep was the only son of his parents and a beloved brother to his sister. He came to Canada just 1.5 years ago on a student visa, full of dreams for a better life and opportunities to support his family back in India. His untimely death has left an unimaginable void in their lives, both emotionally and financially.

Harshandeep’s family resides in Pind Matehri Jattan, Ambala, Haryana, India. The funds raised through this campaign will be deposited into the account of Harshandeep’s aunt, Balwinder Kaur Waraich, who will then forward the full amount to his parents in India. These funds will help cover the costs of sending Harshandeep’s body back to India for his last rites, as well as assist with funeral expenses, legal costs, and other unforeseen financial challenges.

This GoFundMe page and account have been created with the full consent and permission of Harshandeep’s parents, his uncle Harpreet Singh Waraich, and his aunt Balwinder Kaur Waraich. This is the only official account to raise funds for Harshandeep’s family. We kindly request that you do not follow or contribute to any other accounts claiming to collect funds for this cause.
