Remembering Ian Matheau Trego: A Life of Love and Laughter
On August 14th, a workplace tragedy took the life of Ian Matheau Trego, a beloved husband, father, and friend. Ian's warmth, kindness, and infectious sense of humor touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. His sudden passing has left a void that can never be filled, but his memory continues to inspire those who loved him.
Ian was more than a dedicated Field Technician; he was a pillar of strength and joy in his family. As the husband of Hailey and father to their two young children, Adelyn, almost three, and Holden, just a year and a half, Ian's life revolved around his family. Whether it was chasing Adelyn around the yard or reading bedtime stories to Holden, he made every moment with his children count. His eyes would light up whenever he spoke about his family, and his pride in them was evident in every word.
Hailey's father, Shawn, worked closely with Ian and knew him not just as a colleague but as a son. Ian's dedication and hard work were invaluable, and his presence in their lives was irreplaceable. The bond they shared extended far beyond the confines of the workplace, intertwining their professional and personal lives in a way that enriched both.
Ian's tragic accident, resulting in electrocution at a job site, has left his family facing immense emotional and financial challenges. In the wake of this unimaginable loss, Hailey now bears the weight of caring for their young children alone, navigating a future without her partner's unwavering support.
We are reaching out to our community to help ease the financial burden on Ian's family during this difficult time. Your generous contributions will go towards funeral expenses, ongoing family support, and ensuring a smoother transition for Hailey, Adelyn, and Holden as they adjust to their new reality.
By donating, you are not only helping to secure a stable future for Ian's family, but you are also honoring the memory of a man who gave so much of himself to others. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference in their lives.
Please share Ian's story with your friends, family, and colleagues. Together, we can create a ripple of compassion and support that reaches beyond our immediate community, reminding Hailey, Adelyn, and Holden that they are not alone in their grief.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity. All funds will go to our beneficiary Hailey to help with funeral costs and ongoing living expenses. Let us come together to celebrate Ian's life and support the family he loved so dearly.
