Support for Isaiah's Family After Tragedy

Hello, my name is Kevin Lopez, and I am reaching out with a heavy heart to share the story of my beloved nephew, Isaiah, and to ask for your support during this unimaginable time.

On Thanksgiving Day, November 28, 2024, our family experienced an unthinkable tragedy. Isaiah, just 15 years old, lost his life in a devastating car accident. His passing has left an irreplaceable void in our hearts and our lives. No family should ever have to endure such a loss, especially on a day meant to celebrate gratitude and togetherness.

Isaiah was a vibrant and loving young man, full of dreams and aspirations. A sophomore in high school, he had big plans for his future. He dreamed of going to college, becoming an architect, and designing blueprints for houses. He also had a passion for basketball and harbored hopes of one day joining the NBA. Isaiah even explored the idea of becoming a barber, practicing on his brothers and family members. His enthusiasm for life and his endless energy were infectious—he brought smiles to everyone around him.

Isaiah’s love for his family was evident in everything he did. He was a protective and caring big brother to his two younger sisters, always ensuring they were safe and cared for. Whether it was sharing his last piece of candy, tucking his sisters in at night, or making sure the family’s dogs were fed and had clean water, Isaiah’s thoughtfulness shone through. He also loved attending family barbecues, where ribs were always his favorite.

Losing Isaiah has been a devastating blow to our family. The pain of knowing he will never get to achieve his dreams or light up another room with his boundless energy is something we will carry forever. His mother, Josephine, and the rest of our family are struggling to cope with this profound loss.
