Support for Ivy Jackson

Dria Jackson, beloved daughter of Ivy Jackson (our long-time cook) passed away unexpectedly. Dria left behind three beautiful, young children. Our hearts pour out for Ivy and her family, Ivy has always worked tirelessly to provide for her family and faces a future of raising her grandchildren without their mother.

If you have ever enjoyed our RB McGillin, Tuna Club, or our magnificent salads, you can thank Ivy for this. Ivy’s ability to be devoted to both McGillin’s and her family is remarkable and a feat we all can envy. Ivy has worked here since she was 18 and is one of only three current employees who has worked for all three generations of the Spaniak/Mullins family, hired by Henry Spaniak and Joe Szczepaniak, then with Chris and Mary Ellen Mullins, and currently with Christopher, Jr – Ivy has been with us through it all.
