Support For Jaclyn Miller

A few weeks ago, my little sister Jaclyn was admitted to the hospital for back pain and after extensive testing was ultimately diagnosed with stage IV Kidney Cancer. This diagnosis came at the same time she was scheduled to move into a new apartment. As if moving isn’t stressful enough, she was unable to pack/unpack, move, carry or lift anything, and she is now unable dedicate time to furnish her new space. Additionally, Jaclyn does not have the funds to purchase everything she needs right away. She’s been a full-time student for the past two years and recently accepted a full-time paid internship in the field she is pursuing but is unsure when she can return to work or how much time she’ll be able to commit to it. Jaclyn isn’t one to ask for help but when I visited her I could tell she was struggling to find comfort with the few furniture items she currently has. Jaclyn begins treatment this week and my goal is make her home as comfortable as possible and reduce any amount of unneeded stress so that she can focus on treatment, feeling better, finishing school and resuming her new internship that she enjoys. Some of the items your donations would fund are:

- Computer desk to allow her to work from home

- Comfortable seating

- Patio chairs to enjoy some fresh air while she’s unwell and cannot get out of the house

- Bathroom storage
