Support for Jagjit Singh's Family

Hi, My name is Tarsem Singh, and I am creating this GoFundMe page on behalf of the grieving family of Jagjit Singh, a kind-hearted and hardworking man who lost his life in a incident while he was helping a another colleague at the work in Calgary AB on December 8th 2024. This was shocking, unbelievable and unexpected for everyone. He left his wife and 15 years old son behind. They both are living in Punjab India currently.

He came to Canada a year ago on work permit visa, full dreams for a better future and opportunities to support his family back in India. His untimely death has left an unimaginable void in their lives, both emotionally and financially.

Jagjit's family resides in village Bhattiwal( Near Ghoman), distt- Gurdaspur Punjab. The funds raised through this campaign will be deposit into a trust account account which is handel by me and one of our another friend(Gurpinder Singh). We applied for an emergency visa for his wife and a son to bring them here to attend the funeral and perform the last rituals.

These funds will help to cover the costs of last rites , as well as funeral expenses and other unforeseen financials challenges. This GoFundMe page and account have been created with the full consent and permission of Jagjit's wife ( Lovepreet Kaur ). This is the only official account to raise the funds for Jagjit's family. We kindly request that you do not follow or contribute to any other accounts claiming to collect funds for this cause.

Funeral services will be held on January 5th 2025 on 1PM at Country Hills Crematorium & Funeral Services 11995 16 St NE, Calgary, AB T3K 0S9.
