Support for James Constable’s family
Donation protected
Fundraising on behalf of the Beauvais - Constable family.
It is with great sadness to share the news that James’ cancer is terminal. The family understand that this will be a shock to those who love and support them and also appreciate that many will want to be able to help the family in some way. This Go Fund Me has been set up as a space for those that wish to contribute something for the girls and their future at this difficult time.
For those that do not know James' story.
James was diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer in November 2023. After nearly 12 rounds of chemotherapy, and 25 rounds of radiotherapy James underwent major, life changing surgery for a pelvic exenteration in the summer of 2024. James was extremely poorly following surgery, but thanks to incredible care and his strength he pulled through and despite a few set backs began his road to recovery.
Unfortunately, in November 2024 cancer was found in James' liver, and in preparation for more chemotherapy and surgery, James became very ill with sepsis meaning treatment could not take place, and bringing him to this point today.
The future
James and Juliette wish for their girls, Ottilie and Afina, to be able to lead as normal a life as possible in the future.
Thanks to both James and Juliette’s talents, passion and enthusiasm for sport and education, the girls enjoy a range of activities including rugby, swimming, horse riding, tennis and much more. This has been a very important element of how the girls have been raised. James’ dedication to coaching rugby and Juliette’s passion for the outdoors and riding have meant that the girls have been able to grow up in a wholesome, rounded environment fully supported by their parents.
To know that there is a dedicated, secure fund for the girls to continue to enjoy their hobbies, alongside exploring more opportunities as they get older will bring much comfort to James at this time. The fund will also be used to assist the family with any additional educational needs and support that may also be required in the future.
The family respectfully ask that no flowers, cards or gifts be sent. Please kindly consider any donations made to the girls fund as more than enough for the family. They are so grateful for your support.
