Support for James Ponshock's Family in Grief

This is James Ponshock's family here.

After roughly a year of battling various health issues, James Ponshock passed away at his home next to the woman he loved, Michelle, in the early hours of June 28th. We all know that life on earth has an expiration date, but nothing can truly prepare you for the loss of a loved one.

James was unlike any other man you would ever meet and there are many words that we could use to describe him, but we will keep it PG. He was rough around the edges, but with surprising depth and character. He made us all laugh with his dry sense of humor and loved a little friendly trash talk. However, if there was ever a time that you needed something, he would be there no matter what.

He lived his life on his terms, loving his wife, kids, friends, and family through it all. Although he is no longer with us in person, our memories of him will continue to endure.

As we navigate this unfamiliar path of grief and loss, we kindly ask for your support. As James' passing was relatively unexpected, there have been no preparations made ahead of time. We are asking for donations to cover the costs associated with his medical bills, services, and other unexpected costs so Michelle and his children can grieve without the added stress of additional financial burden.

A Celebration of life Ceremony will be held on August 11th, from 2pm-4pm at Black Hawk Country Club.
