Support For James Waller In Journey For Rebuilding His Life

The Millis + Richards Families are organizing this fundraiser on behalf of James Waller, to help rebuild his life from a tragic accident that will forever affect his life that he once knew.

On August 5th, 2024 James Waller & Family suffered an unimaginable tragedy, losing not only his home due to a destructive fire ripping through their Studio City apartment on Colfax Ave., they also lost a beloved family member, their mother Karen Matthews. No family should ever have to experience what they have been through, as James is now left to rebuild his life from the ground up. 

James is always there with a helping hand to friends and loved ones. James had been taking care of his mother for many years now, as they lived together at their apartment on Colfax Ave. We would love it if the community they've been so good to can come together and support them now in their time of need.  The funds that are being raised we are hoping will provide James the ability to rebuild all he's lost, though we know no amount of money can replace the devastation of losing his mother Karen. As James navigates through this terribly unfortunate accident, and not only starts to rebuild his life, he will also will be laying his family's beloved mother to rest. We are hoping these funds will provide James with temporary housing, clothing, food and essentials and Karen's funeral costs.
